My beloved Arizona Wildcats just won the 2012 College World Series, beating the two-time defending champion South Carolina Gamecocks in two games. Until today, the Cats had won the College World Series three times: in 1976, in 1980, and in 1986. I was a graduate student in Tucson in 1986. I went to a couple of regular-season games that year and listened to the College World Series games on the radio. How things have changed! Now I get all the games in beautiful high definition.
