Here is a New York Times story about broccoli, or rather, about what broccoli has to do with the constitutionality of ObamaCare. The following three propositions are logically inconsistent:

1. If ObamaCare's individual mandate is constitutional, then a law that requires Americans to buy broccoli is constitutional.
2. A law that requires Americans to buy broccoli is unconstitutional.
3. ObamaCare's individual mandate is constitutional.

Any two of these propositions entail the falsity of the third. Everyone, therefore, must reject at least one of the three propositions. I reject 3. Paul Krugman, evidently, rejects 1. Erwin Chemerinsky, evidently, rejects 2. Charles Fried rejects 2.
