Would someone explain to me why Felix Hernandez is on the All-Star team? The man is 6-5! Twenty-seven American League pitchers have more victories than he does. Please don't say that there are other, more important statistics. There are not. The name of the game is winning. This man consistently fails to outpitch the opposing pitcher. He is a dud.
Addendum: How are my predictions doing? I predicted that Boston, Detroit, and Los Angeles would win their divisions in the American League. Boston is in fourth place, 9.5 games behind. Detroit is in third place, 3.5 games behind. Los Angeles is in second place, 4.0 games behind. I predicted that Philadelphia, Cincinnati, and San Francisco would win their divisions in the National League. Philadelphia is in fifth place, 14.0 games behind. Cincinnati is in second place, 1.0 games behind. San Francisco is in second place, .5 games behind. I messed up with Boston and Philadelphia, but my other four picks are looking good.
