Unlike some progressive commentators, Jeffrey Rosen gets it. Chief Justice John Roberts is jurisprudentially but not necessarily politically conservative. One can be conservative in one way but not in another.
Addendum: Richard Posner would have joined the minority in upholding the individual mandate under the Commerce Clause. One wonders whether he thinks the Commerce power has any limits.
