History

David Gordon describes the sad state of historical scholarship. I hate to say it, but philosophy has gone the way of history. I can hardly bear to read recent scholarship, so biased is it toward progressive perspectives. Frankly, I am sick to death of reading about the oppression suffered by women, blacks, homosexuals, the disabled, and, most recently, Muslims. Philosophers take pride in being independent thinkers, but, in reality, they are sheep.
