Twenty years ago today, on 12 December 1992, I moved into my current house in Fort Worth. Between the time I was born (7 April 1957) and the time I was 35, I lived in 13 houses or apartments in 12 towns or cities in three states (Michigan, Arizona, and Texas). My longest stay in one place, before now, was 12 years (1967 to 1979), in Vassar, Michigan. It's nice to have stability. I'm not saying I'll never move again, but it'll be fine if I don't. I've lived in five different apartment complexes (in Madison Heights, Michigan; Pontiac, Michigan; Tucson, Arizona; College Station, Texas; and Grand Prairie, Texas).
