Every day, in every media outlet (such as CNN), you hear about gun violence. You never hear about the lives saved by guns. Why do you suppose this is? Is it lazy reporting, or is it journalistic bias, or both?
Addendum: Why do we hear (ad nauseam) about the murderers who are put to death by the state, but not the people whose lives are saved by capital punishment? Lazy reporting or biased reporting, or both?
