Progressivism

This is a screenshot of the Wikipedia page on the new pope just minutes after his election. Katherine was reading the page on her iPhone and noticed the vile language. I captured the image immediately. Sure enough, in less than a minute, the page had been revised to eliminate the disgusting verbiage. The main opponents of the Roman Catholic Church are progressives, so it wouldn't surprise me a bit if the culprit in this case were a leftist. Progressives hate it that the Church defends the vulnerable (fetuses), opposes the redefinition of "marriage," and reserves priesthood for males. But mainly, they hate it that so many people around the world (1.2 billion) derive their values from somewhere besides progressivism. The aim of progressives is to destroy all intermediate institutions, from the nuclear family to private education to organized religion. Nothing, not even civility, will stand in their way.
