Here is Cal Thomas's latest column. How rich is it that the mainstream media have discovered "facts"? They don't give a damn about facts. All they care about is advancing the progressive agenda. If that means not covering Hillary Clinton's corruption and incompetence (think Benghazi), so be it. If that means belittling good men such as Mitt Romney, so be it. If that means not investigating Barack Obama's terrorist ties (Bill Ayres, &c), so be it. If that means smearing Donald Trump, so be it. Journalists are at the bottom of the hierarchy as far as trusted individuals are concerned, and the irony is that they have brought it on themselves by taking sides. Will it ever change? I doubt it. The urge to be a participant is far stronger than the urge to be a disinterested observer and reporter.
Addendum: CNN is among the worst, in terms of dishonesty and partisanship. Night after night, for hours on end, the network mocks, smears, gossips, and lies about President Trump. In doing this, CNN is playing with fire, because Trump has an uncanny ability to destroy people by labeling them. Remember "Low-Energy Jeb," "Little Marco," "Lyin' Ted," and "Crooked Hillary"? He defeated all of them. He now calls CNN and the New York Times "Fake News" (which of course they are). This will destroy the brands of these corporate entities. (I hesitate to call them journalistic organizations.)
